Students can be a great source of feedback to find out what is working (or not) in the classroom each semester. However, students may not provide feedback until they are asked to do so during end-of-semester course evaluations - when it is too late to implement any of their suggestions in the current semester. Instead, mid-semester student evaluation data can allow instructors to tweak their practice during the course. This session will provide guidance on how to construct and implement mid-semester evaluations. Example questions to ask and research-based best practices for assessment will be provided.
