What you'll see:

  • The students in my class will begin their research projects--identifying animal bones from an archaeological site. They will apply what they have learned about animal bone anatomy from the first third of the course and begin the data collection phase. They will be given their bag of bones for the first time, and take their first pass at sorting the bones by taxonomic Class (mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian, fish).
