Virginia supports the research, evaluation, and assessment efforts at the TLTC. Virginia is pursuing a PhD in Technology, Learning and Leadership through the department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership. After six years in higher education and student affairs, she came to the University of Maryland in 2015 to further research online higher education and how adults learn and collaborate through technology. She holds a Bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Illinois, Urbana - Champaign, a Master's degree in student affairs from the Florida State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
